Start off, in order for you to earn money online, you should have a website handy. You actually do not need to spend much money on this if you have a tight budget. There are numerous free domains over the internet that you can use in order to create your free website. You can use wordpress, webs, xanga, blogger, etc.
As for me I used blogger because it is directly associated with google. And if you plan to monetize your site later, you won't find hard time to do that since Google Adsense is already incorporated to it. Blogger too is very easy to use. Even if you are not a techie person, you will easily adapt to it because it is very user friendly.
I don't have any technical knowledge about CSS, HTML, Javascript and the likes but as time went by, I was able to develop the basic skills needed to create, navigate and manage a website. Anyways, I also manage this accounthttp://www.usyusera.blogspot.com. So do not worry if you think you are not knowledgeable enough about web programming and web design. I tell you, it's just very easy to learn the skill.
Once you decided what domain you would want to use, for example, like me, you chose to use blogger, next step is to create an account and subscribe to it. In order to subscribe to blogger you need to have a Gmail account. If you have no Gmail account yet, you can always create one by going to www.gmail.com and click create an account. Follow the direction and supply needed information to successfully create an account.
Once you already have a gmail account, go to www.blogger.com and you will be prompted to sign in using your gmail account. Once you have successfully signed in and created an account for you, you are now ready to blog. When you create an account, make sure to think of the kind of stuff that you would be writing in your blog. You can write about your interest, sell items, write product reviews or just write something about yourself. Whatever you choose, make sure that you can write good material and original content about it as this is very important. Google Adsense will not approve your site once you have copyrighted contents.
If your blogger account is already setup, you are now ready to create blogposts. Think about wonderful topics that you can entertain your readers and supply them information they needed so that they will continually come back. Update your blog as often as you can.
To make your website appear attractive enough to catch your readers attention, edit the background, upload interesting pictures, videos and headers or incorporate lots of colors to your pages. Use your creativity. I'm sure you have lots of it! (*wink)
