short story: Mikey Bustos, A Very, Funny Talented Filipino

I came across this video in youtube and i was laughing my ass out loud! This man, Mikey Bustos is a genius in his natural comedic stint! He has this sense of humor that would surely knock you off. He has a lot of funny videos that you can check out and laugh to your hearts content. If you are problematic, take a break and watch his videos. I'm sure you'll have lighter spirits after watching his videos. And so I decided to blog about him and tell the world how awesome he is!



In this video, Mikey is teaching Filipinos how to eat crabs using a Baroque Filipino accent which is actually his main dish in cracking his jokes. I found him admirable and just simply a funny person. But he also had this criticisms from other people that he's making fun of Filipinos.

Not all Filipinos speak that way. Most of Filipinos nowadays speak fluent English and have neutral accent. I believe that only oldies speak like this. Yes, just like my lolo. He used to speak English but his accent is very strong, just like Mikey.

Young Filipinos nowadays do not really have strong accent. Specially that callcenters became so widespread and employed thousands of young professionals. These new breed of Filipinos have neutral accent and even some have developed a smooth American accent.

That's why some Filipinos found this funny guy to be offensive and seems like insulting Filipinos and embarrassing them in you tube. But he said that he is a Filipino himself and does not want to make fun of his brethren. Eveything is for the sake of entertainment.

I don't really have anything against this person. His comedic skills are worth to be applauded and i salute him. It's not easy to make a video, much more a funny and entertaining videos.

Life is short. Let's make the most of it and don't dwell on the negatives.
